In 2010, my daughter introduced me to energetic healing techniques when I had badly sprained my ankle. Her healing combined with the care of a massage therapist opened my eyes to healing which did not just involve x-rays and drugs. With my mind and heart opened I received Reiki training and earned my Master Attunement in October of 2012. After practicing Reiki and working with Reiki “shares”, I also became much more interested in the body and how things worked. I studied some on my own, but became aware of how much there was to learn. So I enrolled at the Colorado School of Healing Arts to pursue a more thorough education and become a massage therapist. Although returning to school was difficult I could not believe how much I enjoyed it.
I began my education at Colorado School of Healing Arts in January of 2014. I graduated with my Associate of Occupational Studies (AOS) degree in September of 2015 with over 1150 accredited hours. But I wanted to learn even more. Therefore, I completed their Lymphatic Drainage and Oncology programs in 2016.
Since 2010, I have been taken on a personal journey from 25 years in the real estate industry using my brain, to a life of using my head, hands and heart. I could not be more excited to find out where the next few years will take me.
Being a massage therapist is awesome. I love helping people to feel better. Being part of their healthcare team and contributing to their over-all well being is very fulfilling for me. My favorite modalities include Cranial Sacral Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage, Swedish, Deep Tissue and Reiki.
I enjoy spending time with my family (including two dogs and a tuxedo cat), long walks in good weather, dancing, sewing, and learning.
